Over the last decade, education reformers have fought tooth and nail over school choice policy. Although choice advocates have scored numerous policy victories at the state and district levels, schooling has hardly been revolutionized, even in areas with school choice programs. The uneven effect of charter schooling and voucher programs can in part be explained by the fact that school choice is not enough.
We welcome you to join us at AEI as Andrew P. Kelly and Jon Valant discuss two new pieces of research on parent empowerment and K–12 education reform.
